    A step into The Clothes Mine is a step back to a time when service was as much a part of style as the fashions themselves. Owner Louise Nunn stocks a wide variety of unique choices from casual to cocktail, work wear to wedding apparel. Friendly associates are always on hand to assist you with your selections.

    In business since 1977, Louise has assisted many local teenagers as they select prom and graduations dresses and then years later as they come back for their wedding gowns. Many have even been back for their own daughters’ special occasion gowns. No one is left out, with dresses ranging in sizes from 2 to 28.

    In addition to special occasion, bridal gowns and tuxedo rental, The Clothes Mine has an extensive selection of casual clothes for women, as well as casual and work wear for men. Women’s fashions from major brands are available in sizes small through extra large, and many styles are carried in sizes 1XL to 6XL.

    Selection and variety are a hallmark of the store, where packed racks offer many choices in each size. From cool summer sundresses to warm winter sweatshirts, the seasonal collections carried here offer you the opportunity to create a unique style of your own. A wide selection of accessories, including both pierced and clip earrings, will complete the look. If a Red Hat Society club is part of your life, an incredible assortment of hats, accessories and fashions is available at The Clothes Mine.

    Men are not left out at this exceptional store , with styles offered in regular and tall sizes and shirts carried up to size 5XL. An impressive range of Western shirts in long and short sleeve styles can be found, as well as Ben Davis work pants. For the cool winter months, flannel shirts from many quality brands are available in basic, as well as quilt lined styles. Pendleton washable wool shirts are always in stock.

    A visit to the Gold Country wouldn’t be complete without a visit to one of the two Clothes Mine locations. The main store is located at 60 Main Street in Sutter Creek, and is open from 10AM to 6PM daily. A second location, at 3 St. Charles Street on Highway 49 in San Andreas, is open Wednesdays, 10AM to 5:00PM or by appointment.  Bridal fashions are carried at both the Sutter Creek location and the San Andreas location, but Sutter Creek has a more extensive collection.
